Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities

Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment to pediatric patientsCommunicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionalsCollaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patientConsider the age of the patient and his or her emotional stability when determining appropriate treatmentCreate and contribute to patients’ medical records as neededRespond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardiansTrack and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff membersCounsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Update the doctors about the status of the patient
Measure the vital signs of a patient
