Position: CATV Headend Technician/IT Administrator

Hourly Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 Depends on Qualifications

Position Overview: The position overview provides a brief summary and should not be considered exhaustive of all duties. Responsibilities involve the routine maintenance and operation of the City's Cable TV System headend, High Speed Data System, and the City's Municipal interdepartmental Network and Mail exchange. Duties also include working with individuals and agencies as necessitated by operational demands of the system.

Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school graduate or General Education Diploma equivalent is required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Experience with digital platforms/channels aggregation, networking high speed data services, VPN & ACL, MS Exchange, MS Oss & Ubuntu, Lenexa and Red Hat is required. General computer software and computer database manipulation is required. A home telephone is required for stand-by and emergency purposes.
