The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office has openings for the position of Building Maintenance Mechanic.

Minimum qualifications include  graduation from high school or possession of a high school  equivalency diploma, and a combination of five years of  experience in the fields of mechanical, electronic, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.  

Benefits include medical and dental coverage, paid vacation, personal, holiday and sick leave.  Retirement pension through the New York State Retirement System.  

Salary:  $44,320.
