District Manager position in our Circulation department.

District Managers are responsible for effectively overseeing
customer service and on-time
delivery of our daily newspapers and related print products by
recruiting, selecting, and
contracting independent
newspaper carriers in an
assigned area.

What’s A Typical Week Like?
All District Managers work Wednesday and Sunday, plus
3 other assigned days. Your shift begins at 12:30 a.m. by making rounds to your assigned
distribution centers and drop-off locations. You will use your own reliable vehicle (we reimburse your mileage!) to go where you’re needed to ensure complete
customer satisfaction in your d
istrict. In fact, you can earn a monthly bonus based on customer
satisfaction. You will contract and integrate new carriers in your
district and ensure that
independent contractor
compliance requirements are met. If a subscriber in your area is
unhappy, you will use your
superior customer service skills to resolve their complaint. You will keep a sharp eye on all route
assignments and delivery areas to
be sure that our loyal subscribers are happy customers!

What We Require of all District Manager:
• Willingness and ability to work flexible days beginning
at 12:30 a.m.
• Superb customer focused
attitude
• Good driving record, a reliable vehicle & proof of insurance
• Strong organizational &
communication skills
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
(will be tested upon application)
• Experience in a customer
service position

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position,
approximately 40 hours a week
starting at $13.90/hr plus
overtime eligibility. All DM’s
are eligible for bonus
opportunities; a full suite of
benefits including medical,
dental, life insurance, matching 401(k) and paid vacation.
