BUSINESS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST Alliance Fiber Optic Products Inc., in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks Business Operations Specialist responsible for working with warehouse teams, logistics teams and customers to control inventory accuracy and support material supply; interfacing with Taiwan and China factories for planning and scheduling through the complete production cycle; coordinating production plans to meet customers' Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) order requests; providing analytical and administrative support for operations area; supporting sales department by preparing financial, operational and sales reports for internal and external users; ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly reports are generated per deadlines; maintaining data accuracy and reconciling data discrepancies; and providing administrative and project support to department heads and senior management. Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field + one year of experience in global business operations. Must include: experience using Excel including Pivot Tables and Vlookup; experience using macro coding in Excel for inventory control and financial and sales reports; warehousing and supply chain management experience; experience analyzing and reporting on operational KPIs, trends and statistical significance of results to improve cost-reduction and process cycle-time; and experience with Sales and Marketing, Production Planning and Inventory Management modules of ERP system.
