Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals and education. Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost effective manner. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

Education/Expertise:

 Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master in Nursing (MN)  from accredited program required.

 Required Credentials, Licensure or Certification (i.e. RN, RRT):

• Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the  state of Ohio.
• Certification in a specialty clinical area or leadership is  required. If not certified on hire, required within 1 year.
• BLS Required and ALS & PALS may be required based  on area’s requirements

Experience & Knowledge:

• 1-2 years clinical experience in Emergency Services 
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic.
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients/customers.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high pressure situations with professionalism and integrity.
• Knowledge of current technology and equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies
• PC and computer applications
