ROAD TO RESPONSIBILITY Making Lives Better Through Shared Living Shared Living allows individuals to live in a long term, in-home placement with caregivers in the community The program integrates the individual into the activities of the Caregiver's household and provides opportunities for learning and developing. The services are centered on maintaining skills in areas that include social and recreational activities, as well as community inclusion and personal enrichment. THINKING ABOUT BEING A CAREGIVER? Caregivers must have a bedroom to provide with proper furnishings. They must pass a CORI and home inspection. They will complete CPR, First Aid, and any additional agency trainings. Caregivers are provided with monthly room and board compensation as well as a per diem based, tax-free payment.
