Position Description and Application Information Position Posting CEO United Way of Whiteside County. The CEO will be responsible for the professional leadership and management of the United Way of Whiteside County (UWWC), working with the Board of Directors, staff and volunteers in the pursuit of UWWC's mission and attainment of its strategic goals.

Essential duties and responsibilities include leadership, management, resource development, marketing/ communications, and finance/operations. UWWC offers an attractive compensation package, including salary commensurate with experience, and paid vacation.

Experience and Education Requirements are as follows: BA in business or related field; 3 plus years of progressive management experience, preferably in a non-profit environment; proficient understanding of financial matters and strategic planning processes; demonstrated success in developing and securing individual, corporate and community financial support; proven ability to manage, lead and develop a high performing team; ability to work effectively in collaboration with a diverse group of people and organizations; strong written and verbal communication skills: a persuasive and passionate communicator.
