Anderson Development Company is seeking a Quality Control Manager based out of our Adrian, Michigan facility. Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for ensuring the Quality Control group meets the analytical needs of internal and external stakeholders. Manage day to day quality control activities. Supervise Quality Control staffing and Quality Control functions. Ensure lab equipment and process are properly maintained. Ensure systems are applicable for QC. Other projects as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (this includes related areas such as Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic/Polymer Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry). An alternate field of specialization will be considered depending on the nature of the degree, work experience, and training. Minimum 5 years of chemical lab experience including use of instrumentation. Knowledge of QC testing methods. Strong background in statistical design and analysis. Familiarity with chemical processes and analytical techniques (GC, LC, FTIR, Titrators, Viscometers, Melt Index would be a plus). This includes related software (e.g., Agilent OpenLab, Metrohm Tiamo). Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to details, organizational/prioritization skills, and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop strategy, goals, and action plans to improve performance and lead others to do the same. Knowledge of current ISO quality systems and standards. Proficient in MS-Office, LIMS, Analytical Software. Additional Experience Preferred Experience in regulated environments such as FDA/GMP or registered labs such as ISO 17025 would be a plus.
