Managed Pressure Drilling Project Manager - Blade Energy Partners, Ltd. Frisco, TX

Manage UBD/MPD projects conduct project meetings to identify key tasks, deliverables and timing to maintain project delivery expectations; manage implementation plans and operational programs for each well and handle timeline and resources; manage archival process of knowledge documents and records for operations and complex well engineering projects; perform UBD and MPD engineering, including feasibility studies, advanced flow model simulations for UBD and MPD, sensitivity analyses, detailed engineering, dynamic well control simulations and Influx Management Envelopes for MPD operations; perform Well Design Review for different types of wells; advisor to Operations Management team, providing data and guidance to meet requirements and needs of the Rotational Engineers on Operational Team; write high quality technical reports and technical research papers in archival conferences and journals to report novel solutions of engineering problems.

Requirements: MS in PE, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or closely related, plus 1 year experience in advance thermal and fluid problems and in well engineering and design. Experience must be directly related to project coordination and must include working on industry standard software: hydraulic simulation software (WellFlo and DrillBench), and with project management software (MS Project), engineering software (Excel with VB, FLUENT, MATLAB and CAD tools), and software for solution of well engineering problems and well design (WellCat, StressCheck and StrinGnosis).
