General Dynamics OTS, located in Marion, IL, is a Defense Contractor providing medium and large caliber ammunition, solid propellant products and other conventional ammunition to the Armed Forces for over 40 years. We currently have opportunities for the following positions at our location. Accountant 2 BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. At least two years' experience in a Cost Accounting position. Government Invoicing and Government Auditing experience is desirable. Candidate will be responsible for all financial aspects including, but not limited to, reporting and analysis of all assigned contracts from the bid preparation through contract closeout. Contracts Administrator III BS/BA degree in business related field and 5-7 years of related experience. Will administer both Domestic and International contracts. Ensures proper contract compliance and protection of GD-OTS interest in both contract and proposal matters. Post contract awards and changes into Contracts database; maintain contract files both electronically and in hard copy per operating procedures. Responsible for adhering to the U.S. Government laws, rules and procedures concerning the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) process. Prepares and submits proposals in coordination with the Proposal Action Form (PAF) system. Ensure compliance with meeting all ITAR and Export Compliance regulations. Quality Engineer BS/BA degree in Engineering and four years related experience. Performs quality engineering assignments, requiring a wide application of advanced principles, theories and concepts in the field. Provide solutions to problems. Ensure processes and product are being produced to meet or exceed customer requirements. Capable of technical writing for submittal to our customers (ECP, RFD, CDRL, etc.). Candidates without a college degree with significant experience in quality and/or production processes will be considered. Senior Manager Engineer BS/BA degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical or related engineering degree, Engineering mechanics or closely related field and 10 years of related experience. Will be responsible for providing engineering leadership for production processes. The Senior Manager is responsible for the execution of internal and externally funded projects to support new product and process development. Assures the resolution of product and process issues through the effective use of engineering methods to perform design, analysis, and test activities. Accountable for the planning, direction, and control of project workflow and for project safety both internal and external. This position may require supervision of salary and hourly employees. Associate Engineer, Research and Development BS/BA degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or closely related field plus demonstrated project management capabilities and six years related experience. Will be accountable to the Design and Development Manager for execution of internal and externally funded projects for development of ordnance products and support for the manufactures of like items. Assure the engineering and development of new product through the effective use of engineering methods to perform design, analysis, and test activities. Accountable for the planning, control of project work flow, and for project safety both internal and external.
