Job Description
Required: Associate’s degree in a closely related field and three (3) years of welding experience
and one (1) year of teaching experience OR A two year welding certificate and five (5) years of
welding experience and two (2) years of teaching experience or any equivalent combination of
education, training and/or experience as approved by Human Resources Department.

Position Summary
Southeast New Mexico College formerly New Mexico State University, Carlsbad is seeking
applications for an adjunct in Welding. The accepted job candidate will teach courses in Welding.
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for delivering curriculum, providing instruction, and
performing student-learning assessments.
