DC Solar is a clean energy company that specializes in mobile solar products. We are looking for an experienced Property Maintenance Technician who wants to become part of our innovative, team-oriented and rapidly growing company located in Benicia, CA. 

Job Description:

The Property Maintenance Technician will perform basic to advanced duties relating to the repair and upkeep of commercial properties, residential homes and apartment buildings.  This role will be responsible for key maintenance duties and support of DC Solar as well as the physical properties of its related companies.  The properties are located in the North and East Bay -- specifically Martinez, Benicia, Fairfield and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time job and offers benefits.

Job Requirements:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Ability to repair, replace, and install power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights/fans, and garage door openers.
• Plumbing duties including clearing clogged sinks and toilets.
• Drywall repair.
• Painting (interior and exterior) as needed.
• Diagnose and repair faulty appliances.
• Coordinate with contractors for additional repairs or renovations.
• Ensure both commercial and residential properties are prepared for move-in.
• Be available for on-call, 24-hour emergency maintenance.
• Own tools and ability to drive to locations throughout the East and North Bay.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proven experience maintaining multiple properties.
• Minimum Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High degree of responsibility, flexibility and timeliness.
• Acceptable driving record, as driving between properties is required.
• Solid experience with property maintenance (multi-unit, commercial, etcetera) is very highly preferred.

The position pays between $23-26/hour and is benefitted.
