Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer

The EHS Engineer is responsible for implementing, and maintaining the policies, programs, and proced-ures within the Harris Environment Health and Safety management system. Successful candidate will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NYSDEC, SCDHS and Local requirements, as well as complying with Air Force Environmental Health and Safety Standards (AFOSH). As part of a team, the EHS Engineer will also support satellite sites.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, 10+ years experience, and knowledge of EPA, OSHA, DOT, NYSDEC, and SCDHS requirements. Work is performed in multiple environments to include office, project, outside, clean room, and possibly launch site location support. Some travel required.
