Veterinary Assistant/ Technician

Veterinary Assistants perform a wide range of responsibilities within a veterinary clinic. They respond to client questions and may explain procedures and aftercare as well as perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, overseeing billing and payment, organizing files, and, in some cases, answering the phone. It is also the job of a veterinary assistant to perform standard care for the animal patients in the clinic such as grooming them, feeding them, checking on their condition, and cleaning the kennels.

Experience with animals is preferred.
