The Program Manager works in partnership with faculty and staff members of the Center for Lifespan Epidemiology Research to manage administrative and financial aspects of center activities. Currently, this includes the Bogalusa Heart Study and Tulane University Training Program for Diversity in Translation and Implementation Research in Cardiovascular Disease (TU-DRIVE), in addition to other research and educational projects within the Center. The Program Manager will: 

Oversee the daily administrative operations of the Center for Lifespan Epidemiology, which include but are not limited to: hiring and training of staff; organizing seminars; developing newsletters, and an annual report; coordination of internal and external advisory committee meetings; and assistance in evaluation of research programs and Center.

Oversee all financial aspects of the Center’s sponsored research projects, which include but are not limited to: preparing non-technical aspects of research proposals; developing and monitoring subcontracts; preparing and forecasting budgets; preparing quarterly narrative reports; tracking billing and collections; and reconciling accounts.
