Position reqs a Bach deg (US or foreign equiv) in Fin, Acctg, Econ, Engg (any), Gov't/Public Policy, or rel & 3 yrs of exp w/ public finance credit analysis. Must have 2 yrs of exp w/: analyzing public utilities in the municipal enterprise sector incl identifying relevant trends, & assessing their credit impact; financial transactions in the capital mkts & examining the risks & uncertainties of bus investments & economic environment; engaging w/ external clients through strong analytical & communication skills & a customer-service orientation; working on financial models, financial data, & financial statement analysis; reading & analyzing bond offering documents to evaluate credit structures & ask probing questions to issuer mgmt teams & their financial advisers to assess credit profiles; project mgmt & staff coordination to manage process & operating procedures needed for credit training & enhanced credit evaluations; & analyzing governmental & enterprise acctg & evaluating differences between tax-backed & enterprise structures.
