Software Developer II with Oakwood Software Insurance Solutions
in Richardson TX. Duties: Maintenance coding and review of existing
systems and codebase. Analyze, design, develop and implement the
software systems developed for our clients. Analyze system specs
and translate system reqts to task specifications for Jr programmers.
Develop new programs, analyze current programs and processes,
and make recommendations for cost effective and reliable software
products. Test new programs to ensure logic and syntax are correct and
program results are accurate. - Assist lower-level programmers with
programming assignments. Document code consistently throughout the
development process by listing a description of the program, special
instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural,
modular and database level. Plan, process and perform work with
minimal assistance from software development mgr. Respond promptly
to bug reports. Make presentations to customer or client audiences or
professional peers. Maintain positive client interactions by quick and
accurate response to customer system requests. Consult with clients
directly about software system design and maintenance requests.
Provide and direct project management administrative support for
the organization. Provide feedback to analysis/training staff about
performance considerations I usability issues concerning software
specifications and implementation. Research and recommend software
tools to management. Provide assistance to testers and support
personnel as needed to determine system problems. Review changes
in code and the environment that will affect system performance.
Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of
programmer productivity and software development management.
Protect organization by keeping client information confidential. Reqts:
Masters in Comp Eng or Software Development or foreign degree
equivalent. 3 yr exp in job or 3 yr in related occ of programmer/analyst
or software developer. The 3 yr of exp must include Personal Auto
Software Development using PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, Java Script &
