Living in the San Luis Valley

The San Luis Valley is an extensive alpine valley in Colorado and New Mexico covering approximately 8,000 square miles and sitting at an average elevation of 7,500 feet above sea level. Even at this altitude, the valley is surrounded by mountains which allow year round outdoors activities of all sorts.
