To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families. Essential duties include: Routinely provide patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team. Maintains employee records. Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development. Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals and education. Committee involvement, participate with quality improvement initiatives. Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost effective manner. Involved in Community outreach activities as pertinent Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

8 bed ICU open 24/7 and the patient population will vary and give candidates the opportunity to see a wide spectrum of patients from neuro to cardiac and everything in between.  This unit will help decompress the ED as well as expedite outside hospital transfers

Bachelor Degree in Nursing, BSN RN - Registered Nurse BSN or MN required. Cert in specialty clinical area or leadership w/in 1 year. BLS. ALS & PALS may be required per area. 1-2 years clinical experience preferred
