Develop and implement new software programsMaintain and improve the performance of existing softwareProduce detailed specifications and writing the programme codesClearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleaguesTest software in controlled, real situations before going liveDesign and update software databaseReview current systems
Present ideas for system improvements
Work closely with analysts, designers and other staffSoftware maintenanceTest and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimizationRecommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
