The Pharmacy Technician 1 is accountable for assisting pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation and distribution of medications for patient administration. These activities include but are not limited to patient specific medications; floor stock pharmaceuticals; controlled substances; and other defined systems. Pharmacy Technician 1 encompasses Pharmacy Technicians working in the retail environment. All assigned activities are performed under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager. Essential Duties, Accurate preparation of patient medications. Accurate and timely delivery of patient specific medications. Inventories, replenishes, and maintains drug stock. Assist the Pharmacist with medication, patient care related issues.

High School Equivalent / GED R. Ph - Pharmacist - Registered Graduate of accredited pharm tech or the UH pharm tech trainee program reqd. CPhT Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.
