A local sight center is seeking a Optometrist to provide clinical evaluations for patients for routine eye examinations and specialized vision testing.  This is a Direct Hire position; working either part-time or full-time.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform eye examinations, dilations, refractions that meet all licensing and practice standards
• Prescribe glasses and recommend visual aids
• Refer patients for additional services as appropriate
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records, testing, and diagnostic equipment and assure supplies are available
• Complete reports of evaluation and recommendations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be an Optometrist with training in medical and optical aspects of low vision
• Must possess current and valid Optometry License in the state of Ohio
• Must have experience in teaching and presenting low vision concepts 
• Must have strong computer knowledge with the ability to use an Electronic Medical Records
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Must be highly organized with the ability to pay a strong attention to detail
