TRIAGE ENGINEER (Las Vegas, NV). Optimize and implement triage processes for autonomous vehicle (AV) systems, collaborating with data platforms, test automation, infrastructure and tooling teams. Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA), fault tree assessment (FTA), failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) on different test modalities including public road, closed course, simulation, and hardware-in-loop (HIL). Synthesize test output data analysis in relation to systems and safety requirements for expected AV behavior. Utilize AV Functional Safety and SOTIF requirements to generate and report software issues. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Robotics, and at least two years of industry experience working with autonomous vehicle electrical systems testing, including on-road and HIL testing, root cause analyses (RCA), systems verification and validation, autonomous vehicle software components, Python, Linux, and automotive standards (ISO 12207/26262/21448).
