Full time Certified Medical Assistant position at a Busy medical office. Medical office experience is a must. Office hours Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. Benefit package included.

Medical Assistant Job Duties:

Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit. Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.

Medical assistants play an important role in the healthcare industry. Depending on the clinical setting, medical assistants may be called upon to perform basic clinical tasks, such as administering medications, vital sign measurement, phlebotomy, and assisting with physical examinations and patient education.
