Plantation Tree Company, Inc., Selma, AL now hiring 12 temporary Nursery Workers to work in Autauga County, AL from October 2, 2017 to June 30, 2018

Hourly wage of $10.62

Perform manual labor to plant, transplant, prune, thin, cultivate, dig and move flowering and ornamental plants, shrubs and trees by hand, using hand tools and mechanical equipment. Perform extensive walking, bending, reaching, heavy lifting, carrying and loading of up to 75 lbs., pushing and pulling nursery carts weighing up to 200 lbs. and climbing of 12 ft. ladders. Most job duties require workers to work in extremely cold, hot, and/or wet weather. 

Drug testing is conducted post-hire at the employer's expense and is not part of the interview process. Negative results are required before starting work. One month of verifiable nursery work experience required. Three quarters of an average of 47.5 hours per week guaranteed. Employer may pay a bonus depending on the profitability of the company for the current year equal to one standard work week's pay to workers who complete the contract period and adhere to work rules. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. 

Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.
