Job Summary:

 

This position will report to the Vice President of Sales and is based in Birmingham, Alabama.

The sales coordinator role will be asked to provide support to all Independent Agency Representatives. The ideal candidate possesses the following traits: superior organizational skills, professional communication methods, and exceptional follow-up habits. The candidate will deliver professional results while maintaining the highest level of integrity by utilizing PRADCO’s core values.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Gather and deliver monthly sales figures to all Independent Representative Agencies
  • Build customer relationships with local independent retailers
  • Participate in Regional, Consumer and Distributor Shows
  • Manage trade funds to include co-op, defective allowances, and markdown allowances
  • Work with demand planning team to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide market data to the customer
  • Work with Brand Managers to implement methods that assist our customers in effectively and creatively winning with consumers, shoppers, and purchasers through promotions, and merchandising
  • Help communicate PRADCO awareness at the retailer level with timely product training events to improve and increase share of voice 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors/University degree in Business Administration or related function 
  • 2-5 years sales/customer service experience
  • Background in dealing with selling “the bag” of multiple brands across many categories
  • Persuasive / Sales Ability / Negotiation Skills
  • Initiative & follow-through
  • Analytical skills and attention to details
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • 25% Travel
