The Community Development Specialist has the professional responsibility for providing overall administration and supervision of the City's Community Development Block Grant and HOME Programs.  Work requires extensive knowledge of federal grant administration and management, grant accounting and budgeting. Education and experience equivalent to a BA in Public Administration, Business Administration or Urban Planning with at least three years of grant administration experience including supervisory responsibility is desired. Must possess/obtain a valid MT driver’s license and have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, senior management, elected officials and the public.  Salary: Mid 30s to low 40s DOQ, excellent benefits.
