Equipment Mechanic

The City of LaFayette has an opening for a skilled equipment mechanic. The person hired needs to be knowledgeable in the maintenance and repair of all types of automotive, construction, and special purpose vehicles used by the City Of LaFayette. The work may involve repair and maintenance of either gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. The successful candidate must be able to
understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions and to follow technical repair manuals and diagrams. Salary is commensurate with experience. Experienced mechanics are preferred.
