Oilfield Service business headquartered in Laurel, MS with operations throughout Mississippi and adjoining states seeks a full service, hands on Controller (or Chief Financial Officer depending on credentials and experience) to oversee the accounting and finance functions of the business.

Position Description:

The Controller is responsible for all accounting and finance operations of the Company, including:

·         Oversee all accounting functions, including preparation of monthly financial statements and operating reports

·         Analyze financial and operating variances and benchmark performance

·         Continuous monitoring of Accounts Receivable and Payable

·         Primary interface with independent auditors and commercial banks

·         Supervise Payroll, including payroll taxes and deposits, 401K deposits, etc.

·         Working Capital management, including tracking of cash flows, borrowing base, and bank credit availability

Job Requirements

·         Hands on  management style, willing to help with the preparation of reports and day to day financial duties

·         Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience

·         10 + years of progressively responsible experience in accounting with responsibility for full accounting function

·         Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations preferred
