Staff Motor Test & Validation Engineer with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Carson, CA. Lead &/or support motor & sub-component DFMEA, DVP&R & testing specifications.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field & 2 years of pre or post-Masters experience [or a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field & 5 years of experience] as an Engineer. Experience must include: Experience in testing & validation focusing in Motor & Electric drivetrain or E-axle; Hands-on with hardware Testing software (AVL PUMA or equivalent), test set-up, instrumentation, & data acquisition; Applying knowledge of automotive SAE & ISO regulatory requirements; Using Catia V6 or equivalent; & Working with GD&T & tolerance stack-up analysis.
