Class A or B CDL Driver
Job Description
A delivery company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a CDL-A or B Driver. Work hours are Monday through Friday starting at 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. and you will be home every night.
Duties:
- Gather, organize, and load items for delivery in a way that protects goods and supports efficiency
- Ensure routine maintenance tasks are performed in a timely manner
- Follow traffic laws and drive in a safe, and courteous manner
- Log miles, driving hours, and other activities, especially as required to maintain compliance with federal and state laws
- Manage fuel needs and ensure vehicles are properly fueledNavigate or manage routes via GPS and other in-field technology provided by the company
- Perform inspections to ensure the vehicle is in perfect working order and cargo is properly secured
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid CDL-A or B license
- Must have a clean driving record with 2 points or less
- Must have previous driving experience
- Must be able to perform routine maintenance duties
- Must have the ability to follow all traffic laws and drive in a safe manner
- Must be able to maintain accurate documentation and manage routes using GPS
- Must have the ability to comply by all federal and state laws
