Opus Bank seeks a Vice President, Quality Assurance Manager for its Newport Beach headquarters. Duties: Responsible for the overall direction, implementation, execution, control and completion of technical projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Duties: Partner with and provide leadership, organization, control, and quality over-site of product initiation and delivery, systems enhancements, conversions, institutional acquisitions, integration and consolidation efforts. Develop all key project artifacts throughout the entire life cycle: Charter, Requirements, Test Plan, Training, etc. Develop executive-level presentations and status reports. Establish schedules, define resource requirements; define/manage to milestones and critical path, ensure deliverables and implementation are as expected. Maintain project administrative benchmarks and key performance indicators. Adhere to and ensure EPMO standards are met enterprise wide. Projects under the Vice President, QA Manager's control will vary but completion and goal achievement are standard to the project management function. Manage risks and opportunities; prepare and manage profitability analysis (ROI), cost estimation and budget; monitor capital expenditure, track project capitalization as appropriate to company accounting standards. Schedules and facilitates meetings with all levels of staff for purposes of discovery, discussions, presentations, reviews, approvals, problem resolution. Provide over site and management of outsource resources or vendors and project close out; prepare and document lessons learned. Position requires a demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception through completion; experience with project managing Infrastructure, hosted/custom application, data warehouse and various technical 2767.60projects and in consolidating and centralizing IT operations for efficiency gains; deep understanding and expert application of full QA methodologies across all programs/projects across the enterprise. Data warehouse, loan origination system and technology experience. Demonstrated ability with the following computer software: MS Project, MS Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, Jira a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related field, and 5 years of experience as a technical project manager within the financial service industry. Employer will accept a bachelor's degree (or a bachelor's equivalent based on a combination of education and experience as determined by a professional evaluation service) in computer science, business, economics, or related field, and 5 years of progressive experience in the financial service industry.
