Conte’s Bike Shops in Washington, DC and
Northern Virginia. Delivery/Pick Up same to customers.

Looking for someone who is self-motivated, efficient, physically active, and engaging to handle deliveries between stores and from stores to/from customers. Conte’s Bike Shops operates 6 stores in the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area. The position will report directly to the Company’s Fleet Safety Administrator.

• Assess the workload of transfers between stores and the deliveries from stores to/from customers to determine the most efficient routes and times.
• Contact customers to agree with windows (day/time) for delivery.
• Communicate with stores regarding pickups and deliveries.
• Account for all inventory being moved.
• Drive safely and with courtesy to other drivers at all times.
• Keep the van clean inside and out
• Under the supervision of the Fleet Safety Administrator, arrange for all required maintenance, safety inspections, etc.
• Full Time but the schedule will vary from week to week

Qualifications/Background Profile

• Must be able to load bicycles and accessories (typically 30-75 lbs) into/out of a Ford Transit Van
• Must have a clean driving record (2 years DMV record will be checked).
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Organized and Detail Oriented
