Prepress Tech Part-Time

The Spokesman-Review is seeking a part-time Prepress Tech. This position exists to process and prepare content and create printing plates for a newspaper offset web press. In the absence of the floor supervisor, the weekend person acts as the main contact for any prepress questions and issues. JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to self-train in new software programs using electronic, web, and written forms. Typing at 35 wpm. Expert knowledge of Adobe Software . Attention to details is critical. Ability to work well under deadline pressures. The hours and days will vary. Typical hours would be 2PM to 8PM 3-days per week. Starting wage is $16.00 per hour. May lead to full-time.
