Customer Service and Support:

* Provides customer service and support to users of microcomputer hardware and software
* Responsible for complex end user support and desktop PC maintenance, troubleshooting, updates and network connectivity
* Maintains password security for authorized access to computers

Implementation/Installation:

* Timely and accurately installs microcomputer hardware systems and software including upgrades and enhancements

System Analysis:

* Evaluates needs of user departments and recommends hardware and software solutions
* Tests new software programs and updates existing programs prior to installation
* Conducts problem-solving research

Training/Education:

* Plan, develop, and coordinate training programs/classes in the use of microcomputers and other peripherals (as needed)
* Stays abreast of current advances/updates in technology

Reporting:

* Maintains database of system changes and revisions

Regulation:

* Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines

Requirements:

* Associates Degree in Computer Science required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in configuring, troubleshooting, installing, and maintenance of software and computer systems; required
* Valid Mississippi driver's license and good driving record; required
* Operational knowledge of microcomputers and related equipment; required
* Demonstrated knowledge of hardware and networking basics; required
* Working knowledge of mobile device support and maintenance; required
* Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills required
* Epic experience and certification a plus
