QUALIFICATIONS: 2 year college credit (proof required), or 6 months of specialized experience in a lab or field environment relating to cotton, and High School diploma or GED certificate required, and must be submitted at time of application. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required. 

Additional rating points will be given for education and/or work experience relating to cotton. Selected individual will be trained to perform and document sampling inspections at licensed agents and serve as liaison between USDA and industry customers. In-house training provided. Position begins prior to the 2017 cotton harvesting season. Position seasonal and selectee will be employed for approximately 20 weeks during cotton harvest/ginning season. Must be able to lift 30 lbs and be willing to work occasional night shifts. Overnight travel may be required. Background checks will be made on all applicants. Salary $14.07 per hr.
