Public Works Seasonal Maintenance
Position: Seasonal Public Works Maintenance
Salary: starting wage is $18.61 per hour - DOQ
The City of Nisswa is looking for two ambitious and honest individuals to help with summer maintenance, predominantly mowing and trimming. Fun and stress-free job. No experience is necessary, we will train the right individual. High school and college students are encouraged to apply. Hours for this position are 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday, no weekends or Holidays. Flexible start and end dates. Job application can be found below, and should be returned to the City Clerk. This position will be open until filled. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. This position will be posted until filled. Offers of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of background check. EOE.
Warming House Attendant
General Duties: Warming House Attendants work to maintain and supervise the warming house and ice rinks in a safe and orderly manner. Attendants are expected to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for patrons to skate and play hockey.
Ice Maintenance
General Duties: The Ice Maintenance position is responsible for performing ice resurfacing and snow removal to maintain safe surfaces at the Nisswa City Park outdoor rinks.
Hockey Referee
General Duties: The Hockey Referee position maintains order and enforces rules on the ice during the youth hockey program and is expected to be professional, consistent, and fair in rule enforcement.
