Min Exp: 10 yrs exp w/design of vertical/structural construction projects, construction project development (including computer-aided drafting), scope development, specification writing & review, project budget estimation, & project scheduling. Must have 2 yrs exp in project management.
Functional Responsibilities: Provide Structural Engineering consulting & project management support. Provide technical assistance in structural building systems. Prepare & assist in preparing elements of contracts to include scopes of work, specifications, designs, & schedules. Review, & assist in reviewing elements of projects to include scopes of work, specifications, designs, & schedules. Coordinate between project customers, management, & various government organizations during logistical planning & execution of projects. Provide Structural Engineering technical assistance & logistical advice to "in-house" work contractors. Provide technical assistance on Environmental projects, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) projects, & Fire Protection projects.
Min Education: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University or College. Unlicensed engineers are acceptable.
