Project and Reliability Engineering HVAC Engineer II-IV (Chemical/Mechanical Engr) DES02168 AREVA is looking for a HVAC Engineer for its office in Richland, WA location. The identified candidate will be a Chemical or Mechanical Engineer that will support HVAC and process off gas scrubbing systems. In addition, the candidate would learn existing plant systems and support improvement projects and maintenance activities at a facility with highly automated chemical, sintering, and assembly equipment. Primary responsibilities will include: Start up, commissioning, operations, and maintenance Oversee field work which may include new installation, integration into existing systems, repairs and operations. When designing and maintaining the systems, validate conformance with environmental and safety requirements. Monitor and develop system health reports. Requirements: Engineer II - BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering PLUS 2-3 years of experience. Engineer III- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering PLUS 3-5 years of experience. Engineer IV - BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering PLUS 5-7 years of experience. 3 years of professional experience, including ventilation system design, operation, or maintenance in industrial ventilation systems for the control of radioactive effluents, in particular those with potential particulate emissions. Ability to analyze and direct air balancing activities. Knowledge/experience related to High Efficiency Particulate Absorber (HEPA) filters (consensus standards, installation, testing, etc.).
