Asset Management Research Analyst

Stamford, CT. Build & maintain financial & economic models. Conduct channel checks. Conduct industry-specific financial and economic research. 5-10 days of travel per quarter during normal times required for conferences/meetings.

Must have at least bachelor's or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering or related & 1 year of experience as financial analyst. Must have experience with: developing, researching & implementing financial models for equities; performing stat analysis to build financial models; using Excel & analyzing financial statements to make recommendations; performing research & modeling using Bloomberg & BamSEC; analyzing risk & return profile of portfolios of financial instruments, conducting research with large data sets; & performing research pertaining to energy industry.
