Applications Systems Analyst - Specialist (BCBST, Chattanooga, TN): Reqs Bachelor’s (US/forgn equiv) in Comp Sci or rel or equiv yrs exp; 3 yrs systems & programming exp in Java & J2EE; 3 yrs exp using front end tech including CSS, bootstrap, Angular JS & creating websites; 1 yr exp w/ info tech concepts, app dev methodology, terminology, & standards; knowledge of JSR 286 portlets; able to implement SOAP & REST services using J2EE & jersey; proven analysis, design, & coding skills & demonstrated success in leading lrg & complex proj; demonstrated ability to interpret & translate tech or complex concepts into info meaningful to project team members or business personnel; organized, reliable, & able to manage multiple tasks w/ exceptional work ethic; able to communicate effectively w/ both tech & non-tech co-workers. In lieu of Bachelor’s, will accept 1 yr of tech exp for each yr of requested college ed in addition to exp reqs above.
