Job Summary: The licensed clinical social worker will provide outpatient therapy to children and adolescents in the Psychiatry Faculty Practice (PFP) at Upstate Medical University's Department of Psychiatry. In addition to clinical work, the social worker will have a leadership position and help to develop and expand an outpatient child and adolescent psychotherapy practice within the PFP. Responsibilities include providing individual and family psychotherapy, and providing supervision and leadership to social workers in the practice. The social worker will work working closely with the mental health team (child psychiatrist, child psychologist, social workers and NPs) to develop and run an effective child and adolescent service.  Minimum Qualifications:

New York State LCSW social worker from an accredited training program with a practice focus on adolescents and families. 

Preferred Qualifications:

LCSW-R preferred. Experience working on a multidisciplinary team setting and supervising clinical social workers preferred.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday daytime hours.
