Sterling Systems & Controls, Inc., a manufacturer of customized process control systems and material weighing equipment located in Sterling, IL, is looking to fill the following position:

Electrical Engineer: The ideal candidate would have 5 years or more of experience in Allen Bradley hardware such as PLC, SLC, CompactLogix, VFDs, and Soft Starters. Some experience in Rockwell Software products such as RSLogix, Factory Talk Studio would be ideal.

Position requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Position requires customer service skills & ability to troubleshoot. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Software Engineering position.

-The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience and knowledge in: C++ and C# programming languages; WPF, ASP.NET; SQL Scripting; and SSRS.

- Understanding of Linq-To-SQL, MVVM, and Prism patterns and practices. Familiarity of Microsoft desktop and server operating systems including security and network protocols.

- Basic electrical*and electronic troubleshooting skills and use of test instruments is beneficial.

- Knowledge of industrial process and control theory is beneficial.

Position requires customer service skills & ability to troubleshoot; a degree in Computer Science - Programming.* Occasional overnight travel may be required.
