Design Engineer 3/Senior Design Engineer 1 - Systems sought by ASML in San Diego, CA, to be responsible for the overall Extreme Ultra-Violet diagnostic system architecture & roadmap. Master’s degree in Electronics or a closely-related field & 2 years of relevant experience; experience architecting complex, cross functional or cross competence systems or subsystems; experience with complex system design & integration; track record of technical leadership in equipment design & engineering; ability to cross functional boundaries to build relationships with all areas in the company to understand & reconcile higher level company & customer needs; familiarity with semiconductor equipment technology especially in the areas of optics, vacuum, high pressure & plasma; excellent written & verbal communication skills; & excellent customer service skills with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building required.
