Washington County is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of County Administrator.  

This position involves responsibility for the administration of County government under the direction of the County Board of Supervisors.  The County Administrator is responsible for coordinating the activities of the various County departments and agencies to carry out the directives of the Board of Supervisors efficiently, economically and effectively.  

SALARY-  2021 Base Salary $92,782 plus benefits, salary may commensurate with experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS-

1. A)Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field and two (2) years of management experience in a private or public business; OR
2. B)A Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of management experience in a private or public business; OR
3. C)A sufficient combination of education, training and professional experience in the field of public or business administration which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
