The Trapper is responsible for the daily operations of the trapping course at a Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond resort,
and for providing instruction to guests and maintaining the trapping course. Candidates for this position must be able to communicate well with guests in addition to associates and other members of management.

DUTIES: 

• Performing trapping duties for guests, which includes tasks such as pulling and scoring rounds.
• Discussing basic safety information with guests to ensure that they have a positive experience.
• Maintaining and loading the trapping course as needed.
• To ensure the safety of guests and employees at all times
• To instruct guests about sporting clays rules and safety issues to ensure they have a positive experience
• To accompany guests out onto the clays course and guide them as needed on the course, 5 Stand and/or teaching areas
• To set up equipment for guests to include, guns, ammunition, and safety products
• Performing trapping duties for guests to include tasks such as pulling and scoring rounds.
• To ensure that equipment is put away and stored properly and that all buildings and gates are secure at the end of the day
• To stock, move, and load trap machines as needed
• To liaise with other Outdoor Activity personnel to ensure exceptional activity experiences for guests

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to maintain appropriate grooming standards according to organizational policy.
• Must have previous experience working with shotguns.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
