Application Developer

Highmark Health seeks Application Developer to work in Pittsburgh, PA and to be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing application enhancements with no supervision. 

Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related position.  Alternate requirement: bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position.

With a Master’s degree, must have two (2) years of experience (can be concurrent) with each of the following: (i) Java and J2EE; (ii) Linux; (iii) DB2 and Oracle; (iv) REST Web Services and JSON; (v) Mainframe Z OS and CICS; and (vi) Informatica Power Center.

With a bachelor’s degree, must have five (5) years of experience (can be concurrent) with each of the above-noted technologies.
