Grand County Public Health has a job opening: Environmental Health Specialist Full time position, full benefits.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Performs environmental health inspections and investigations of public and private establishments and other environmental situations to ensure compliance with local and state health and safety codes. Serves as environmental and public health educators who provide information and perform specialized environmental health work.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Science Degree in Environmental Health, Biology, Microbiology, or closely related field. Minimum of one year experience in the field. Must possess valid driver license and applicable vehicle insurance. Training will be provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment pertaining to program standards, policies, guidance and rules and regulations for retail food, child care and schools inspections.
