BUS DRIVER/MECHANIC ASSISTANT: OUSD is seeking a candidate for an 8 hour per day 12 month per year BUS DRIVER/MECHANIC ASSISTANT position. Shift will be 6:30am-11:00am & 12:30pm-4:00pm (hours may vary as needed). This position will qualify for split shift differential pay. Shift subject to change during holiday and summer breaks. Must be able to complete the requirements to obtain a California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus License). Preferred candidates will have a Class A or B passenger endorsements license. Range 15 on the classified salary schedule.

INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE: FAIRVIEW is seeking a candidate for a 5 hour per day Instructional Aide for our After School Program through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (PC #361). Shift is 1:00pm-6:00pm Salary Range 5 on the classified salary schedule.
INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE: FAIRVIEW is seeking candidates for Instructional Aides for the After School (SPARK) Program (PC #312). Total hours are 3.99* Salary Range 5 on the classified salary schedule.
*Hours will be:
M,T,Th & F – 2:15pm to 6:00pm
Wednesdays – 1:00pm to 6:00pm
Minimum Days – 12:15pm to 6:00pm (10 Days)
Must meet minimum standards for instructional aide certification; AA degree or two years of college (48 units) or passage of CODESP test.

The Glenn County Office of Education Human Resources Department publishes a Substitute Teachers List with periodic updates, for use by the public school within Glenn County.
To view requirements for placement on the Substitute Teachers list, click here.
After the substitute is cleared by Glenn County Office of Education, the substitute will notify Orland Unified that they wish to be added to the OUSD sub-calling system.

Certificated Substitute Daily Rates - This salary schedule is temporary and has been increased to address the certificated
substitute shortage. The term of this schedule shall be effective January 1, 2024 and
end June 30, 2024.

Half Day $100.00
Long Term Substitute Rate Starting on the 21st Consecutive Day
